Hey, I’m Darren
A Yorkshire wedding photographer based in Leeds, dedicated to capturing timeless moments you’ll cherish forever. Having lived in Yorkshire my entire life, I bring a local’s touch to every shoot. I’m a husband to my wonderful wife, a proud dad to two amazing children, and a dog dad to our chocolate Labrador, Nelly.
While I primarily serve couples across Yorkshire, I travel throughout the UK and internationally to be a part of couples special day. Whether you’re planning a local wedding or a destination celebration, I’m here to help preserve your memories for a lifetime.
There’s something truly special about my role as a wedding photographer. I don’t just take pictures-I capture memories that will last a lifetime, and I’m passionate about every single wedding. Each wedding is a unique story, and I love being able to document it for couples in my unique style that you will treasure forever.
I love being a professional wedding photographer and is something I am extremely passionate about and enjoy immensely. I’ve celebrated weddings of all shapes and sizes, from intimate elopement weddings, to urban city weddings and rural barn weddings in the beautiful English countryside. I’ve also been privileged to photograph weddings in and around Europe, including Madrid and Italy.

A little more about me…
I have spent the past few years perfecting my style of wedding photography and have worked hard to ensure my style is consistent and classic, whilst ensuring I’m capturing authentic and timeless images, not just following a TikTok trend .
My main passion is to ensure images are timeless and to focus on capturing moments that are true and authentic - documentary style, with an added twist.
Candid and documentary-style photography makes for some of the most heartfelt and memorable moments which is why I try and let moments unfold naturally, then document the magic as it happens. At the right time, and especially when capturing couple portraits I’ll introduce a mixture of documentary moments as well as editorial styles to ensure we are getting them “must have photos”.
My editing style focuses on deep tones and natural timeless colours that will last a lifetime. A typical full day wedding gallery takes several hours to edit, and I pride myself on ensuring every image is edited perfectly and as per my unique style.
I live in North Leeds, and I’ve always had a passion for photography since my late teen’s. I initially started out as a wildlife photographer, which was absolutely amazing and enabled me to capture some truly spectacular images that were published online and in wildlife magazines and newspapers .
I then slowly started progressing into model / commercial shoots and a few years later started my journey as a professional wedding photographer, which is by far the most fulfilling genre of photography for me personally - What could be better than capturing couples special day! I’ve had the privilege of photographing weddings all across the UK and Europe.
